Guest Bio

Dr. Gili Adler Nevo trained as a child psychiatrist in Israel before immigrating to Canada and completing a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Anxiety at the Hospital for Sick Children. She has been working with anxious youth for two decades and now leads the Michael Garron Hospital Child and Adolescent Anxiety Clinic. Dr. Adler believes anxiety is a precursor to other psychiatric disorders and a cornerstone to other life difficulties such as social isolation and loss of work and school days. To this end, treating anxiety in children not only alleviates immediate distress but can actually change a child's life trajectory.
